
Operating Instructions
We recommend charging the Corkscrew for at least two
hours before first use. Please follow the instructions below:
Recharging
Notes:
1.
Use only the charger supplied with this product as using
another charger may damage the rechargeable battery
installed in this unit or cause the battery to explode.
2.
The actual product differs from graphics shown in Figs 3,
5 & 6 – ie: the transparent lower section in these diagrams
are to show the internal workings more easily.
Step 1:
(Choose charging method

USB Port Charging Method
(Fig. 1):
Plug the larger end
of the USB cable into any
available USB port
.
A/C Adapter Charging
Method (Fig. 2):
1. Plug the larger end of the
USB
cable
into
the
included A/C adapter
USB port.
2. Then, plug the A/C
adapter into an
electrical socket.
Step 2:
Plug the smaller
end of the USB cable into
the back of the corkscrew.

Step 3:
Leave on charge
for approx.2hrs. The LED light
indicates the corkscrew is
being charged and will turn
off
when
charging
is
complete. Recharge the
battery at any time. No
need to completely drain
the battery before charging.
Operating Process
Step 1:
Remove the foil cap
from the wine bottle with the
included foil cutter before
using the corkscrew.

Step 2:
1.
Hold the wine bottle with
one hand and place the
electric corkscrew onto
the wine bottle.
2.
Press the “DOWN” button
to remove cork from the
bottle.

3.
The unit will stop once the
cork is removed.
4.
Hold the bottle steady with
your other hand so it
doesn’t spin round.
Step 3:
1.
Move the corkscrew away
from the bottle.
2.
Press the “UP” button to
eject the cork from the
corkscrew.

CAUTION:
For your own safety
and the functioning of the
corkscrew -
DO NOT
put
fingers or objects near the
spiral, especially when in use.
Cleaning
1.
Never immerse the appliance in water.
2.
To clean the outer surface, simply wipe with a damp
cloth.
3.
Do not use any scouring pads or abrasive cleaners as
these will result in scratches to the unit.
4.
Do not use any chemical-based solutions on this
product.
5.
Ensure the unit is completely dry before storage or
reconnecting to electrical supply.
Recycling & Disposal
The packaging of your new wine
opener has a recycle mark on it.
Please dispose of it as recycled paper
or by using the “Dual System”.
Battery & Disposal Information

This Corkscrew contains rechargeable batteries. Before
you dispose of your Corkscrew the batteries should be
removed and disposed of responsibly.
♦
This should be done by a qualified technician.
♦
Carefully ease the two covers apart, please note, there
are springs inside your Corkscrew that will move once
the covers are parted but normally stay inside the
product.
♦
Unplug the leads from the battery pack
(Fig 7)
and
remove it from your Corkscrew.
♦
Dispose of the rechargeable battery pack and
product responsibly.
♦
Do not mix products bearing the crossed out bin
symbol with your general household waste.
♦
For the correct collection and treatment of these
products take them to collection points designated by
your local authority. Alternatively, contact the store
which sold you the product.

product may explode if disposed of in a fire.

Do not charge the battery used in this equipment with
any other charger than the one provided with the
product. Using another charger may damage the
battery or cause the battery to explode.

electrical shock or damage, DO NOT expose the unit to
rain or moisture or other liquid.
