Network Disconnected - backup video recording mode in case of physical network connection loss.
Following modes are available:
- Disabled - function inactive
- IP check - allows for checking the connection between the camera and a desired address. Lack
of connection displays an appropriate message in the log, camera may be also switched
to alarm recording mode.
- Cable check - detects physical connection loss (disconnecting the cable from the Ethernet).
Lack of connection displays an appropriate message in the log, camera may be also switched
to alarm recording mode.
- IP Address - Network address or domain name used for checking.
- Interval - time between two consecutive address checks
- Reaction - Allows for setting the camera’s response in case of connection loss
Selecting
“o Reaction”
results in camera not performing any additional recording in case
of connection loss.
“Continuous SD recording”
enables recording, with the video length set in the
“Record Time”
field. Selecting
“Area Setting 1 (2, 3)”
enables camera to automatically activate
motion detection function for a selected area in case of connection loss.
- Record time - Maximum single AVI file recording length in continuous recording mode.
Information:
Due to the limited efficiency of cameras it is not recommended to record the stream bigger than 1Mbps.
When there is too much information or video quality is too high, post alarm recording time
is decreased and the frames can be lost.
Recording parameters during continuous recording are constant and equal 5fps, 512kbps, keeping the
resolution. Delay between subsequent recordings equals about 8-10% of the declared recording time.
This mode prioritises recording the video via a card which may degrade the live display of the
recorded video stream.
