Then connect the power cable and data cable to the disk as shown below.

Install the top cover on the DVR and screw it back.

NHDR-5008AHD

SATA and power socket is on the mainboard. Put the HDD into the socket at the shown place.

Move DVR to the side holding HDD by hand, and screw it tightly from the bottom.
