DEFROSTING
There is no automatic defrost function in the equipment!
The cold cabinet has to be defrosted when there is 2 mm ice
on the back wall.
The ice building depends on the air humidity and how often the
door is opened.
Switch off the cold cabinet with the current switch and remove
the contact plug from the wall socket.
Ice must not be removed by any sharp object as that scratches
surfaces and make them diffi cult to clean.
Clean and dry the cabinet carefully after defrosting.
CLEANING
Remove Novobox package and switch off the unit from the
main electrical power switch and take off the electric wire from
the wall socket.
Empty and clean the unit after each use.
DO NOT storage Novobox package in the unit.
Check the temperature every day by the thermometer of the
cold cabinet.
Wash the stainless steel surfaces of the equipment by a mild
detergent mixed with water *, e.g. dishwasher detergent
or other suitable detergent. Use a cloth or a paper towel to
prevent scratching.
RINSE WITH A DAMP CLOTH, DRY AND ALLOW THE
CABINET TO DRY OUT.
* DO NOT USE DETERGENTS OR DESINFECTANTS
CONTAINING CHLORINE, SOLVENTS, SCRUBBING
PRODUCTS, A KNIFE OR OTHER SHARP TOOLS.
DO NOT USE RUNNING WATER TO WASH THE UNIT.
REFER TO THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION OF THE
DESINFECTANT TO SEE WHICH MATERIALS IT IS
SUITABLE FOR. DO NOT LET IT SPLASH ON SENSITIVE
PARTS, SUCH AS THERMOMETER. DRY THE EQUIPMENT
AFTER THE DESINFECTION AND LET IT VENTILATE.
Clean the cabinet door gasket using a mild water soluble
detergent and check the condition of the gasket. A silicone
spray makes the gaskets fl exible and dirt-rejecting.
The equipment has parts that can be removed and washed in
the dish washer:

(1) dosing valve
(2) tap holder
(3) knurled-head screws
(4) base for glass
(5) drip trough
Loosen the knurled-head screws and remove the dosing valve.
Clean the gasket strips with mild detergent.
Clean condenser ensures faultless function of the dispenser
and right temperature of the drinks.
The condenser cell has to be brushed or vacuumed regularly
at least once a year.
The condenser can be vacuumed or brushed through a hole
under the dispenser.
Tilt the equipment carefully backwards or sidewards about 45°
when the hole for cleaning (1) can be seen.
Use a thin and long nozzle to vacuum the condenser.
Vacuum or brush the condenser cell with vertical movements.
Horizontal movements might bend thin aluminium sheets and
deteriorate the air circulation of the condenser.
After cleaning, lower the dispenser back and connect
the contact plug to the wall socket.
