1. To switch the unit on and off
Firstly connect the power pack
to the Label Maxx (1), then
connect to the mains.
Important
When switching off the unit, first
take the plug out of the socket.
This will protect the unit.
2. Insert material roll
(not applicable to the Ce
version)
Loosen fixing screws (4).
Adjust the 3 components of the
material reel until the material
roll is held fast (3).
3. Insert material
3.1 Push the top edge of the
material brake (8) back until it
goes no further.
3.2 Remove the first 40mm of
labels on the reel, insert
material into paper tray (6) and
pull through to front edge of the
housing.
3.3 Adjust the material guide
(5)
on the right hand side to the
material width.
3.4 Adjust the material sensor
(9) sideways so that the
position mark (10) is in line with
the material centre.
3.5 Pull the material brake (8)
forward (returning it to its
original position) and the label
will be dispensed.
3.6 Guide the backing paper
(14) under the unit and connect
it to the rewinder (13).
4. Remove material
4.1 Push the material brake (8)
half way back, the automatic
feed will stop and the last
dispensed label can be taken.
4.2 Then push the material
brake back(8) as far as it will
go, cut the backing paper
between the rewinder and unit,
and remove the material by
pulling it back up through the unit.
Remove the backing paper re-
gularly from the rewinder (13).
