Transport Functions

The buttons shown below provide key functionality for performing and recording with Logic Pro X. 

• 

Capture MIDI -

 pressing this will trigger the “Capture as Recording” function in Logic.

• 

Click -

 toggles the metronome click.

• 

Undo

 - pressing this will trigger the undo function.

• 

Record -

 pressing this will trigger the record function.

• 

Play and Stop -

 these buttons control playback of the track.

• 

Loop

 - toggles the transport loop (“Cycle Mode”).

Navigation

The

track buttons allow you to navigate between which track is selected. When in 

Session 

Mode

 the pad for the selected track will be lit a brighter red than the non-selected tracks and the 

smart controls change with the selected track in
