Overview
Connecting to the network requires a unique set of connection
settings. You may have more than one connection account if you
are traveling throughout Europe, each with its own settings (e.g.,
France, Germany, UK, etc). A profi le is a complete set of connection
information required for connecting to the network in the country
in which you are traveling. Profi les allow you to defi ne the connec-
tion settings, and easily connect to the network.
Default connection profi les have already been created and loaded
onto your computer. If you are in a country without a default profi le
assigned to it, contact your service provider.
The Profi le Manager allows you to view your preloaded profi le and
also create, edit, view, and delete new profi les. A profi le creation
wizard leads you through the steps to create a new profi le.
An asterisk next to a profi le name indicates a preloaded profi le,
which is locked. You cannot edit a locked profi le.
