 Using the Modem Manager

Manual Revision

Entering a PUK

If you have forgotten your PIN or have entered an incorrect PIN three or more times, you are 
required to enter a PUK (PIN Unblocking Key), in order to unblock your SIM card. See Figure 31.

Your service provider will give you the 

PUK

 and a new 

PIN

. Carefully enter these values into their 

respective fields, and click 

OK

 to save the values. Once the values have been accepted, the SIM 

card will no longer be blocked and the PIN will be changed. The Modem Manager will now be 
able to access your network account information.

Note:

If you enter a PUK incorrectly three times, the SIM card will again be blocked. You must con-
tact your service provider to obtain a new PUK and PIN.
