5.2. Application of liniments
As a rule only apply cremes, ointments, and cosmetic/medicinal liniments to the skin after
NOVAFON treatment. Using the device prior to application of these compounds stimu-
lates blood flow, which in turns leads to a more efficient uptake of the active ingredients
contained in them. If you nevertheless wish to apply ointments or cremes before NOVA-
FON treatment, we recommend you place a fine cloth between the instrument and skin.
Otherwise the residue left by these compounds may damage the device.
