First use
• Your appliance is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, where a power socket is
available. It should not be exposed to rain or other high humidity climate.
Your appliance should always be stored indoors when not in use.
• Do not use the appliance in rooms with a bath, shower or swimming pool or in the
vicinity of wash basins.
•
Always place your appliance on a firm and stable surface to avoid accidents and the
risks of burns.
•
New appliances may give off a small amount of smoke when first used. To minimise this,
heat up your appliance for 15 minutes (thermostat light) then let it cool down completely.
Getting started
• Plug in your appliance, the red power indicator will turn on, set the thermostat to
maximum and pre-heat for 15 minutes.
• Lightly grease the cooking grill plate. To do this, use a small, soft-bristled brush or a
piece of kitchen paper lightly moistened with oil. Do not omit to grease the cooking grill
plate – it is very important (even with the non-stick coating).
• Never use sharp cooking tools, knives, forks while using the cooking plate as it may
damage the coating.
• Put the food on the grill plate and take them off when it reach your desired cooking.
• You can use the mini pans to grill mushrooms or small open sandwiches topped with
cheese.
• How to use mini pans for raclette cheese : Cut the cheese into slices of about 3 to 5
mm thickness and put them into the mini-pans. It is preferable to use original raclette
cheese. Any other fast melting cheese, however, is also suitable. Due to the above heat,
the cheese will melt quite quickly. Do not overfill the small pans. And from time to time,
retrieve some food residues from the grill plate and the small pans to avoid the food
burning smells.
