Master Disconnect Switch

IMPORTANT
The Kwik-Pit may or may not be supplied with a Master
Disconnect or ON/OFF switch. Norwood does not pre-wire
the switch and motor at the factory as end user procedures
and equipment vary.
The end user will need to have a licensed electrician to
provide power to the machine per the National Electrical
Code ANSI/NFPA 70 and local codes. Install an ON, OFF
switch for the convenience of the operator.
1. Be sure the “Hydraulic System Power Lever” is disen-
gaged.

2. Turn the electric motor switch “On” to provide power to
the Kwik-Pit Wet Kit.
3. Engage the “Hydraulic System Power Lever”

4. Discharge the desired amount of material from the Kwik-Pit
conveyor belt out the discharge spout.
5. Run until the belting is empty.
6. Turn off motor and lock out power source.
7. Unplug the power cord, wrap around the equipment and
secure to prevent dragging, especially when transporting
or placing the conveyor.
