Manual Settings – Parameters
2.10.2.1
Speed/Latitude
Sets the parameters for speed and latitude inputs used for the automatic North
speed error correction.
Speed/Lat
Mode
Function:
Selects between automatic and manual input of the actual speed
and latitude.
Settings: Speed Mode
man: speed is entered manually
auto: speed is entered automatically
Posit Mode
man: speed is entered manually
auto: speed is entered automatically
Speed/Lat
Set.
Function:
Enters the manual speed and latitude values.
Settings:
man. spd.: 0.0 – 99.9 kts
man. lat.: 99:99:99 N – 99:99:99 S
Note
Speed and latitude data is transmitted at the sensor data outputs in automatic
mode only.
If speed and/or latitude are entered manually, the respective data must be con-
tinuously updated according to the prevailing conditions.
Manual speed input should be accurate to ±1 kt., manual latitude input should
be accurate to ±1°.
