3.3.10 Port Finder

Connect the cable to the tester “LAN” port

，

click the icon to enter. Click “Start” to test, tester

will send signal to make the connected LAN port flicker at special frequency.

If the tester and PoE switch are connected correctly, the LAN port of POE switch flash at special

frequency, If not, no changes to the light on the LAN port will be observed.

Application

The tester will send special signals to make the connected LAN port flicker at special frequency, which

will enable the installers to easily and quickly find the connected Ethernet cable. This function can

prevent mistaken insertion or disconnection of non-corresponding cables.
