The!key!switch!controls!power!to!the!starter!and!to!any!

accessories.!!With!regard!to!starting,!the!Master!Switch!works!just!like!an!ignition!
key!on!a!car!provided!the!magnetos!are!ON.!!Turning!the!switch!all!the!way!to!
the!right!(clockwise)!activates!the!starter.!!Releasing!it!will!cut!the!flow!of!power!
to!the!starter,!but!will!keep!accessories!on.!!Turning!the!key!to!the!left!(counter!
clockwise)!will!shut!off!any!accessories!tied!to!the!key!switch.!!However,!the!
actual!“ignition”!circuit!is!controlled!by!the!magnetos.!!Turning!the!Master!switch!
off!will!NOT!shut!down!the!engine.!
