and then save it for future reference. We reserve the right for
any errors in text or images and any necessary changes made
to technical data. In the event of technical problems or other
queries, please contact our Customer Services.
Safety
• Do not turn the product on while it is still in its packaging.
• The product should not be used if any part is damaged.
In such cases, it should either be discarded or repaired by
a qualified repairman.
• Do not let children play with the product.
• This product may not be connected with other types of
garlands/string lights.
• Unplug the transformer from the wall socket when unattended
or when the product is not used for a prolonged period.
• Do not expose the product for extreme temperatures or
close to open flames.
• The product must not be modified or used in any other
manner than described in this instruction manual.
• Do not cover the product with anything such as foil, paper,
plastic, etc while it is in use.
• The product must not be shortened.
• The rating label containing the type designation must not
be removed or made illegible.
Installation
The garland’s male plug is used for connecting to the transformer.
1. Connect the male plug to the transformer and fasten it
using the screw cap.
3. Make sure that any
additional socket on
the extension gar‑
land has its socket
securely covered by
a screw cap.
The garland’s female plug is used for connecting to another
garland.
2. Hang the garland up in its desired location (making
sure that the lead is within reach of a functioning wall
socket) and use zip ties or other appropriate fasteners for
fastening. Do not use sharp tools for mounting and
never
use metal fasteners such as nails, metal wires, etc. for
fastening. Be extra careful that the garland’s lights and
cable are not damaged during mounting.
3. Do not mount the cable at sharp angles and expose
the cable to pulling or compression forces.
4. Make sure that the protective screw cap over the extension
socket is screwed on securely.
5. Connect the transformer to a wall socket. The garland does
not have a power switch. Power is controlled by plugging
and unplugging the garland (or alternatively by using a timer
switch between the garland and mains socket).
Connecting an additional garland
Note:
• No more than one extra garland may be connected to this
garland. The transformer is only capable of powering a
maximum of two garlands.
• The transformer provides power to both the original and
connected garland.
1. Unplug the transformer to turn it off.
Care and maintenance
Let the garland dry completely before putting it away for
storage. Unplug the transformer and store the garland in a dry,
dust‑free environment when it is not being used.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local council.
