To connect to an integrated V.34 console modem module:

Configure the modem, using the parameters in

Table 4-3

page 4-11

Install the V.34 console modem module in the Remote Console slot.

For instructions, see “Installing a WAN Adapter Module” on page 2-21.

Route the cable through the cable loom slot corresponding to the remote
console slot.

Insert the RJ-11 jack into the Passport 5430 Remote Console interface
