Connecting to an Ethernet Interface

To connect an unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable to the system processor 
module:

1.

Route the cable through the cable loom slot corresponding to PCI slot 1. 

For instructions, see 

“Using the Cable Looms to Manage Cables

” on 

page 4-17

2.

Insert the UTP jack into the RJ-45 receptacle connector, as shown in 

Figure 4-1
