This chapter describes how to install the Passport 5430 router chassis, as follows:

Preparing to Install the Passport 5430

Before beginning the installation, verify the list below, as explained in the sections 
that follow:

You have the proper equipment and tools.

•

You have the communications devices and the cabling that you need to attach 
to the Passport 5430.
