Replacing the System Processor Card

Pull the system processor card toward you to detach it from the system 
processor card connector in the Passport 5430 chassis.

Be prepared to apply some force, but stop pulling as soon as the system 
processor card is free from the system processor card connector.

9.

Slide the system processor card all the way out of the slot.

10.

If a PMC module is installed on the system processor card, remove it. 

a.

Locate the installed PMC module 

(Figure 7-3)

.

b.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the 4 screws that secure the 
PMC module to the system processor card.

c.

Grasping the edges of the PMC module, pull it straight up and lift it 
out of the module socket.

d.

Place the PMC module in an antistatic bag, or set it on an antistatic 
mat.
