Installing and Operating the Passport 5430 Multiservice Access Switch

Wait 1 minute and then turn the power switch to the on position.

If the problem persists, contact the Nortel Networks Technical Solutions
Center.

Verify that the DC OK LED is on.

To turn off the Passport 5430:

Press the power switch on the power supply to the off (0) position.

If a redundant power supply is installed, turn it off.

Resetting the Passport 5430

The Reset buttons are located inside the Passport 5430 front panel, next to the
console port

(Figure 6-6)

To press one of the Reset buttons, insert a small pointed object (for example, a
paper clip) into the Reset button hole.
