Chassis types

Three-slot Chassis (model 4430)

The three-slot chassis uses a 135W ac power supply to provide power to the
Ethernet Base Module and expansion modules.

Note: The three-slot Passport 4400 uses ac power only. There is no

option for dc power.

Figure 10-2. 3-slot Power Supply

The power cable connects to the Ethernet Base Module. All expansion modules
in the unit draw power from the Ethernet Base Module through stacking
connectors on the modules.
