Using Noise mode
Follow this procedure to adjust the handset to cope with varying noise levels
in your work environment.
These three noise level modes that are available:
• Normal—select this mode for most office environments.
• High—select this mode for environments with a moderate amount of
background noise.
• Severe—select this mode for extremely noisy environments.
Prerequisites
The handset must be in standby mode.
Procedure steps
Step Action
1 Press and hold the FCN key.
The User Options menu appears.
2 Use the Up and Down keys to scroll through the list and select
Noise
Mode
.
3 Press
Ok
.
The Noise Level submenu appears.
4 Use the Up and Down keys to scroll through the list and select a
mode.
5 Press
Ok
.
6 Perform one of these steps.

Step Action
To return to the previous menu press
Up
.
To return the handset to standby
mode press the Power Off/End Call key, or
press
Exit
.
