If, for example, to enable network superloop #4 which is supported by a
Local Carrier Interface card, at the prompt type the following:
.ENLL 4
This command attempts to enable the Local Carrier Interface card
supporting network superloop 4.
Responding to error messages
If incorrect information is entered after a prompt, the program displays
a warning message or an error message. The prompt is displayed again
below the error message so the correct information can be entered.
Exiting the program
To exit the program, type
****
and press the Enter key. The following
is displayed:
This means the program is exited successfully. Now access another
program or log out.
Logging out
After exiting the program, Nortel recommends logging out. To do this, type
LOGO
at the > prompt and press the Enter key.
Logging in and using a maintenance telephone
A telephone can be used as a maintenance terminal if its Class of Service
is defined as MTA (Maintenance Set Allowed) in LD 11. This feature
allows access to diagnostic programs in the system and execution of a
limited set of maintenance commands to test system functions.
To enter commands on a maintenance telephone, use the telephone
keypad. The numbers on the keypad represent numbers and letters
normally used on a video display terminal keyboard.

shows the
translation from a terminal keyboard to a telephone keypad.
