Customizing the CLI banner

Parameters and
variables

Description

static | custom

Set the display banner as

custom

line number

Enter the banner line number you are setting. The
range is 1 to 19.

LINE

Specify the characters in the line number.

disabled

Disable the banner display.

Run the

banner

command in Global Configuration command mode.

no banner command

The

no banner

command clears all lines of a previously stored custom

banner. This command sets the banner type to the default setting (STATIC).

The syntax for the

no banner

command is

no banner

Run the

no banner command

in Global Configuration command mode.

Banner tab

The Banner tab controls the CLI banner display.

To configure the Banner Control, perform the following procedure.
