Low battery indicator
The handset monitors the power level of the battery pack and notifies you
when the battery pack needs to be charged. Failure to charge the battery
pack will result in the handset being unusable.
The following low battery indicators are used:
•
The Battery Pack icon on the status line of the handset display
provides a visual indication of the amount of charge that remains in the
Battery Pack. When the icon shows empty, a sound indicator is sent.
•
If the handset is in standby mode, you hear a brief, modulated-ring
signal or beep, and the Battery Low message appears.
•
If you are in a call, you hear soft beeps once every six seconds, first
slow and then fast. When you first hear the beeps, you have two
minutes to end the call or change the Battery Pack.
