. Do not operate the air conditioner without the filter; otherwise dust would enter the unit.

. Do not remove the air filter except for cleaning. Unnecessary handling may damage the filter.

. Do not clean the unit with gasoline, benzene, paint thinner, polishing powder or liquid
insecticide, otherwise it would cause discoloration and deformation of the unit.
WARNING! Clean indoor unit with damp (not wet) cloth. Do not get indoor unit
wet due to the risk of electrical shock or fire.
Increase the frequency of cleaning if the unit is installed in a room where the air
is extremely dirty. (You can begin by cleaning the filter every six months, then
increase frequency as necessary.)
If filter becomes too clogged to be cleaned, change the air filter.
How to clean the air filter
1. Open the air inlet grille

the 24k~42k cassette type unit

. Push the buckle as shown in
the Figure.

. Release the screws under
buckles with a screwdriver.

. Push the fastener and open the
panel grille.
(2). How to open the panel grille of
the 18k/48k cassette type unit

. Remove the screws with a
screwdriver as shown in the
picture.
