Step 14: QC, performance check and scatter calibration

Use the
Nor
controls for this procedure.

Access QC mode and scan the control LOT related QR code.

Preferably run all control levels, but at least the normal level.

If needed: perform calibration.

Recheck with controls in QC mode.
Run Normal control in stress mode 10 times and check CV% values. Those should meet
with the given ranges shown in the user manual.
Perform scatter calibration if necessary.
Run the freshly opened normal control sample and check the NEU XY parameter on the
results technical screen. It should meet with the given NNEU XY values of the control
assay sheet.
In case the difference is higher than ±3 use the “Calc. Opt. Amp.” button from the submenu
and get to service settings menu where press “Set both” button to accept the new digital
gain values.
In case it is getting closer to the
assay’s NNEU XY value but still it is out (±3) than perform
the same procedure again.

In case of available SW upgrade, download it to USB drive, place it to a folder called
“nectar” and connect this USB drive to the analyzer. Run SW upgrade procedure from
System - About menu.
