Water Treatment

This water heater is equipped with an optional automatic service reminder function to alert the user
when

ﬂushing

or a

cartridge/ﬁlte

change

is required. Once activated, the unit will display an "05" error

code on the remote controller when maintenance is due. The service interval can be set for either 6,
12, or 24 months; refer to

page

28 for recommended

ﬂushing

intervals. If a water treatment device is

installed, refer to the instructions provided with the device for

suggested

service intervals. By default,

the service reminder function is disabled.

To activate or adjust the service reminder error "05", refer to the below procedures.
Note: The

setting

must be done within the

ﬁrst

10 minutes of

connecting

electrical power to the water

heater.

Setting Procedure:

1. Turn the water heater of

f by pressing the Power On/O

ff Button on the remote controller.

2. Disconnect, then reconnect electrical power to the water heater.
3.

Reset the display of the operation panel in the following way a

fter the water heater is serviced.

When the "05" error code appears, reset the display only aft

er the water heater is ﬂushed and/or

the water treatment device is serviced.

If the error is reset without performing the necessary servi

ce, the water heater may fail prematurely.

Note : In the case of Quick connect multi system, perform sc

ale cleaning of both units.

1. Set the Power On/O

f Button to the OFF position.

2. Push the Flow Meter

Alarm Set Button more than 2 seconds.

3. Push the Flow Mete

Alarm Set Button several times until "7 oF" is displayed.

4. Press Setting Button

This will complete the service warning reset.

6. The preset temperature is displayed.

How to reset the scale warning:
