10. Insert the new hose adapter (1), attached to the short piece of powder
tubing into the gun inlet body (15).
11. Insert the atomizing air line into the lower air fitting (12) on the pump
body.
12. Insert the flow air line into the upper air fitting (12) connected to the
venturi nozzle in the pump.
13. Remove the cap from the bottom of the funnel (9) and push the funnel
into the hole in the top of the pump body with a slight twisting motion
until the funnel is snug.
Use the following steps to operate the corona cup gun kit.
1. Fill the cup gun funnel with powder coating.
2. Turn the control unit on and adjust the atomizing pressure to
1.7 bar (25 psi).
3. With the flow rate air pressure at zero, trigger the gun and slowly
increase the pressure until you reach the desired powder flow.
NOTE: Pressure settings will vary depending upon the powder type and
spraying conditions.
CAUTION: During cleaning with compressed air, steps should
be taken to prevent powder from being blown back into the
control gauges and regulators.
NOTE: Turn the electrostatics off and set the flow air and atomizing air
pressures at 3.4 bar (50 psi) before triggering the gun to clean. This will
prevent powder from migrating back into the controls.
Use an air gun to clean out the cup gun after use.
