Maintenance and cleaning
The fan requires little maintenance. If the fan has
been broken and requires service contact
qualified personnel.
1. The fan must be disconnected from the mains
before cleaning and assembly.
2. To ensure adequate air flow to the fan motor, keep
the vents on the back of the fan motor free of dust.
Note do not dissemble the fan to remove dust.
3. Wipe the exterior with a soft wet cloth and
mild detergent.
4. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents to prevent
scratching the surface.
Do not use any of the following as a cleaner: gasoline,
or thinning solvent.
5. Protect the motor housing and internal parts from
water and other liquids.
Assembly of fan
1. Loosen the screw and washer from the upper pole.
Connect the upper pole with the cross connector and
tighten the screw with the washer. (Fig. 1)
2. Attach the four rails by sliding them into the cross
connector. Make sure that the rails are fixed into
the connector. (Fig. 2)
3. Loosen the height adjustment ring, adjust the
handle to the maximum height. (Fig. 3) You can adjust
the upper pole to the desired height and then secure
the height adjustment ring. (Fig. 4)
4. The height adjustment ring must be fully tightened
before mounting the motor housing on the upper
pole. Release the thumbscrew, then mount the motor
housing to the upper pole and tighten the screw in line
with the groove on the upper pole. The thumbscrew
must be fully tightened before using the unit. (Fig. 5)
5. Unscrew the spinner clockwise (or take the spinner
out of the bag) and tighten the nut counterclockwise to
remove them both. Attach the rear protective guard to
the motor housing and tighten the nut. (Fig. 6)
6. Insert the fan blade on the motor fan shaft, and to
ensure that the spindle is mounted in the groove of the
fan blade. Turn the spinner counterclockwise to tighten
the fan blade. (Fig. 7)
7. Attach the front protective grille and rear protective
guard with grid clamp and attach the guard by
tightening nuts and bolts. (Fig. 8)
