The panel Ne273 has 8 buttons with different functions depending on the active screen on the display.
The function is shown on the display an image corresponding to the button.
In the main screen on the left are the 4 buttons for activating and off loads, while the 4 buttons on the
right are dedicated for programming, reading value batteries and tanks, setting brightness and switching
off the panel
.In the main screen always displays the date, time and internal temperature. Also displays the external
temperature when the external temperature sensor is connected.
The display brightness can be varied or off in time with the active panel to reduce power consumption.
To indicate that the panel is on, is active the symbol green on the bottom right, not on display.
CONTROLS:
The activation of the load is displayed with the color variation on the symbol.
Green light colour active load, yellow light colour deactivate load
INTERNAL LIGHTS EXTERNAL LIGHTS PUMP AUX
SCREENS:
If the temperature probe is faulty the wording “ “ will appear
in the position of the temperature value.
This symbol appears when
the 230V mains is connected
This symbol appears when the vehicle engine is running and the parallel batteries is active or in
the presence of the 230V mains when the two batteries are in parallel verifing before the battery
service voltage. In this last case the symbols and are illuminated alternately, one at a time.
This symbol indicates that the alarm clock is enabled with related time. The alarm clock rings at
the pre-set time for 1 minute every 10 minutes; press any button to stop it ringing.
Press this button from the first screen to view the TEST page, from which to check the voltage for
the service B2 and vehicle batteries B1, the level percentage %
in the drinking
(0,25,50,75,100)
water tank S1 and the level percentage %
in the recovery tanks R1, R2
(0,100)
A bell is shown next to each indication if the relevant alarm is enabled.
When the alarm is present the bell flashes.
If the tank is wrongly connected will show “ “ in the position of the value
The screen remains active for approx. 30 seconds.
This symbol appears when there is an error communicating with NE185 shunt.

The pages available are:
- Date and time regulation
- Alarm clock time enabling and regulating
-
Alarm enabling: Car battery (B1) less than 11,8V or Service battery (B2) less than 10V.
When the alarm occurs in the panel buzzes (if enabled) intermittently for 5 sec. and at the same time shows the TEST
screen with the corresponding bell flashing.
-
Alarm enabling:Tank S1 empty or Recovery tanks R1,R2 full.
When the alarm occurs in the panel buzzes (if enabled) intermittently for 5 sec. and at the same time shows the TEST
screen with the corresponding bell flashing.
- Enabling the confirmation beep button pressed, and alarm buzzers
- Adjusting Brightness display and sleep mode
The percentage indicated by this symbol (20 ... 100%) is the brightness of the display when not in stand-by.
The value 100% indicates the maximum brightness of the display.
The percentage indicated by this symbol (0 ... 100%) is the brightness of the display when in stand-by.
The value 0% indicates that the display is off.
The value indicated by this symbol is the time after which the panel switches to standby mode
The value "---" indicates that the standby mode is disabled.
- Page info: displays the version of the panel and the shunt.
CONSUMPTION:
To turn on the control panel you must touch for 1 sec. the right or left side panel where there are the keys.
The control panel (without active loads) with the brightness to 100%, has a total consumption of about 160mA (with the shunt NE185).
If the control panel (without active loads) is in standby mode with the display off (0% brightness) the total consumption is approximately
108mA.When the key ( ) is pressed the control panel turns itself off and total consumption is reduced to just 11mA.
If the service battery voltage drops below 10V, after 1 minute the control panel turns itself off, together with all live parts.
CONNECTIONS:
The back of the panel has a connector for serial connection (CON3), a connector for the optional external temperature probe (
TEMP
OUT
TEMP IN
) and a connector for the remote internal temperature probe (
).
By connecting the internal temperature probe the panel automatically exclude the sensor inside the panel.
MEMORY BATTERY:
A buffer battery (LITHIUM 3V CR2032) is located on the back of the panel (removing the cover) to maintain the time in the event of a
power breakdown.
