2.2 Installation Steps
Please refer to the following steps to install your computer:
1: Adjust all Jumpers on SHB-940 as per this manual.

Install CPU and CPU FAN

Install Memory

Install Expansion Cards
5. Connect all of the signal line, cable, panel-control circuit and power supply
6. Power on and Finish BIOS setup
NOTE
：
Key components of this CPU Card are Integrated circuit, and these components will be
easily damaged by electrostatic influence. So, before installing this card, please follow the
following precautions:
1. Hold side by the edges; don't touch any component or pins on the board
2. Use a grounded antistatic wrist strap/gloves while touching the integrated circuit
component s (such as CPU, RAM).
3. When the integrated circuit components are unused, pls put these components in
antistatic tray or bags.
4.Pls make sure the power is disconnected before inserting the power plug.
2.3 Install Central Processing Unit

The CPU Card comes with a surface mount LGA775 socket designed for the Intel
multi-core processor in the 775

land package.

Connect the chassis fan cable to the SYSFAN connector to ensure system stability.

Ensure this motherboard support the CPU you choose, if the direction you inserted was
wrong, CPU may be damaged. After system boot, BIOS will examine CPU type and frequency
automatically, BIOS setting won

t allow you to change the CPU frequency, in order to make
system work steadily, please set your CPU exterior frequency by its specification, and we don

suggest you over clock your CPU. At present most Intel
®
CPU frequency multiplication have
been set when delivered from the factory, can not be changed.
