WATER ALARM
Introduction
To get the most out of your new water alarm,
please read through these instructions
before use. Please also save the instructions
in case you need to refer to them at a later
date.

Inserting the battery
Remove the top cover.
Insert a new 9 V battery into the battery
compartment. Check that the poles are the
correct way round.
Replace the cover.
Use
Place the water alarm in a location where
there is a risk of water leakage or fl ooding.
This could be near a washing machine or
dishwasher, under a sink in the kitchen, the
bathroom or in a basement. The water alarm
must be placed at the lowest point where
water can collect.
It must be placed on its three small metal
legs.
Because water conducts electricity, the water
alarm will be activated within a few seconds
if the three metal legs are in the same
puddle. A loud alarm signal will sound. This
will warn you of the danger of water damage
before any damage actually occurs.
Low battery warning
When the battery is about to run out, the
alarm emits a loud warning signal. Replace
the battery as soon as possible.
