Quick Reference Guide

Message Definitions (AAA Log)

The six basic messages are defined as follows:

Sample SYSLOG Report

Syslog reports are generated by the AG 5500 and sent to the syslog server that is assigned to
general error detection and reporting.

AAA_Authentication Successful

Subscriber profile was successfully added to the AG
5500 authorization table after being authenticated by
the credit card server.

AAA_Authentication
Unsuccessful_Error

Subscriber profile was not added to the AG 5500
authorization table because the credit card server did
not recognize the transaction.

AAA_lookup
Added_in_memory_table_pending

Subscriber profile has been recognized and the AG
5500 is waiting to authenticate the user.

AAA_Interface
Added_by_administrator

Subscriber profile was manually added to the
authorization table.
