CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Make sure the fan is turned off and unplugged.

For a quick clean, wipe down the unit with a soft, lightly dampened

cloth. Do not get the fan housing too wet as it may cause issues.

For a more thorough cleaning, dust the air output vent and air intake

grill with a small soft brush and use a dry, soft cloth to wipe down the

interior.

Clean the inner fan cylinder to keep the fan’s airflow at peak

performance. Refer to “Airflow Cleaning” (Pages 13-14) for detailed

cleaning instructions.

Clean the large debris filter by gently wiping it down with a dry or wet

cloth. Refer to “Airflow Cleaning” (Page 13)

for detailed cleaning

instructions.

DO NOT use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the

fan.

DO NOT immerse the fan in water and never allow water to drip into

the motor housing.

To clean between the grilles, we recommend using a pipe cleaner,

flexible dustwand, vacuum cleaner or compressed air to gently

remove the dust.

When storing, you may leave the fan assembled and covered to

protect it from dust. Store the fan in a cool, dry place.
