Operating environment

Remember to follow any special regulations in force in any area and always switch off your
device when its use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger. Use the device
only in its normal operating positions. To maintain compliance with radio frequency
exposure guidelines only use enhancements approved by Nokia for use with this device.
When the device is on and being worn on the body, always use an approved holder or
carrying case.

When the earpiece is used, hold the radio as you would any telephone, with the antenna
pointed up and over your shoulder. When the loudspeaker is used, hold the radio
approximately 10 cm (4 inches) away from the mouth with the antenna pointed up and
away from the face and eyes.

Using two TETRA devices closeby may cause them to interfere with each other, for example,
when two such devices are in the same vehicle. If you experience such interference, separate
the two devices until the interference stops.

Medical devices

Operation of any radio transmitting equipment, including wireless phones, may interfere
with the functionality of inadequately protected medical devices. Consult a physician or the
manufacturer of the medical device to determine if they are adequately shielded from
external RF energy or if you have any questions. Switch off your device in health care
