62 Section 2C: Setting Your Phone’s Security
Accessing the Security Settings Menu
All of your phone’s security settings are available through
the Security settings menu. You must enter your lock code
to view the Security settings menu.
To access the Security settings menu:
1.
Press Menu > Settings > Other settings > Security .
2.
Enter your four-digit lock code and press OK .
Using Your Phone’s Lock Feature
To prevent your phone from unauthorized use, you can require
the input of your lock code to access your phone’s features.
Locking and Unlocking Your Phone
When your phone is locked, you can only receive incoming
calls or make calls to 911, Sprint Customer Service, or special
numbers (allowed numbers).
To lock your phone:
1.
From the Security settings menu, select Phone lock and
one of the following options:

Lock now to immediately lock the phone.

On power-up to set your phone to lock each time it is
turned on.
Tip: If you can’t recall your lock code, try using the last four
digits of either your Social Security number or wireless
phone number, or try 0000 or NATL (6285). If none of these
work, call Sprint Customer Service at 1-888-211-4PCS (4727).
