Charge the battery
Warning: Use only
batteries, chargers, and
enhancements approved by
Nokia for use with this
particular model. The use of
any other types may
invalidate any approval or
warranty, and may be
dangerous.
Check the model number of any
charger before use with this device.
This device is intended for use when
supplied with power from ACP-12.
For availability of approved
enhancements, please check with
your dealer.
1. Connect the lead from the
charger to the socket on the
bottom of your phone.
2. Connect the charger to a wall
socket.
If the battery is completely flat, it
may take a few minutes before
the charging indicator appears
on the display or before any calls
can be made.
The charging time depends on the
charger and the battery used. For
example, charging a BL-5X battery
with the ACP-12 charger takes
approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes
while the phone is in the standby
mode.
DT-8 Desk stand
The desk stand allows charging of
the phone battery, and a spare
battery that may be included in the
sales package. It can be supplied
with power from ACP-12 or AC-1.
The spare battery is charged if the
phone is not inserted, or if the
battery in the phone is fully charged.
The charge level of the phone
battery is shown on the display of
the phone.
The blue light indicator shows the
charging status of the spare battery
and has the following functionality:
• The light indication is breathing
blue when the desk stand is
empty, or when only the phone is
inserted (phone battery is either
fully charged, or being charged),
or when both, the phone and the
spare battery, are inserted, and
spare battery is fully charged.
