Tone settings

You can change the tone and vibrator settings of the currently selected profile.
The same settings can also be found in the

Profiles

menu, see page

To access this menu:

Press

. Select

Incoming call alert

to choose how the phone notifies you of an incoming voice

call. The options are

Ringing

Ascending

Ring once

Beep once

and

Off

For example, if you select

Off

, the phone remains silent when you receive a call.

•

Ringing tone

to select the tone that rings when you receive a voice call. If you

want to select a ringing tone saved in the

Gallery

menu, select

Open gallery

from the tone list.

•

Ringing volume

to select the volume level for the ringing tones and message

alert tones.

•

Vibrating alert

to set the phone to vibrate when you receive a call or message.

The vibrating alert does not work when the phone is connected to a charger,
desktop stand or car kit.

•

Message alert tone

to select the tone you hear when you receive a message. To

select the tone from the ringing tone list, select

Ringing tone

and the desired

tone.

•

Keypad tones

to select the volume for keypad tones.

•

Warning tones

to set the phone to sound tones, for example, when the battery

is running out of power.
