HOW TO USE THE ELECTRONIC THERMOSTAT
The Noirot Electronic Thermostat is designed to read the room temperature every
30 seconds. This offers maximum economy, greater efficiency and is very simple
to use. There are 2 dials on the thermostat:
Dial A:
HGEL
– This mode is only used to keep the room temperature just
above freezing (for use in very cold climates eg. Europe). The ‘Low’
light on the control panel will illuminate.
ECO
– When this mode is chosen, the temperature set on the
thermostat will automatically drop by 4° (eg. If the room is set to 19°,
then changing the mode to
ECO
will drop the room temperature by 4° to
15°). The ‘Econ’ light on the control panel will illuminate.
CONF
– This mode is used for normal heater operation. The ‘Comf’
light on the control panel will illuminate.
ARRÊT CHAUFFAGE
– Choose this mode to stop/turn off the heater.
PROG
– This mode is used when a programmable electronic timer has
been installed in the heater.
Dial B:
This dial is used to set the required comfort level (temperature) of the
room.
To operate the heater:
1.
To turn the heater on, turn
dial
A
from ‘ARRÊT’ to
‘CONF’.
2.
Turn dial
B
until the ‘Heat
On’ light illuminates.
3.
Allow time for the room to
heat up. This will vary with
the size of the room but
usually takes 15-20mins.
The ‘Heat On’ light will turn
off.
4.
To achieve your comfort level simply adjust the dial
B
to suit. If you
require more heat turn the
B
dial up to a higher number. If the room is
too hot then turn the dial
B
to a lower number.
5.
To turn the heater off, rotate dial
A
so that ‘ARRÊT’ is displayed.
MAINTENANCE
Your Noirot Electric Panel Heater requires very little maintenance. To remove
surface dust use a soft cloth; to remove marks use a damp cloth. Never use
abrasives or metal scourers which could damage the polyester coating. It is
recommended to periodically clean the air vents using the soft brush on your
vacuum cleaner, as dense accumulation of dust will cause the heater to over-heat
and trigger the safety thermal cut-out switch.
