When to charge the battery
Your battery comes partially charged on arrival, however we recommend fully
charging it
before
using it in your power tool for the first time. If you experience
any issues after charging, get in touch with us at
The battery charge level indicator conveniently lets you know how much charge
remains in your battery and is located on the back of the battery pack. Pressing the
indicator button illuminates the four LED triangles showing you how much charge
remains.
NB!
Tools requiring a large
power supply (like the angle
grinder & nail gun) will
sometimes appear to have
stopped working, but the
remaining charge indicators
still light up - don’t be
alarmed, your tool works
fine. The battery protects the
tool by preventing the
voltage falling below a
certain level, causing the
battery to show two or three
remaining charge levels,
when the tool is effectively
flat. Charge the battery as
normal when this occurs.
Be on the lookout for when your battery pack nears the end of its lifecycle: Should
your power tool start acting strange or not performing as you know it should, it
might be time to replace the battery.
When it's finally time to part ways (which should be after
200 charging cycles, or
1-2 years of regular use)
, please remember to properly dispose of the battery. See
our ‘responsible disposal’ guide on page 8.
