How to Change or Clean the Secondary Cloth Filter
1.
Turn off the main power switch and unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
2.
Remove the vacuum hose from the machine.
3.
Release the two latches and lift off the lid.
4.
Lift out the cloth filter (Fig.1)
5.
Do not throw away the filter frame.
6.
Remove the cloth filter from the frame and shake or brush
the dust from the filter (Fig.2 & 3).
7.
Replace the filter on the plastic frame and place into the
machine. Note: Do not operate machine without cloth filter
installed.
8.
Replace the cloth filter every six months (Fig.4).
How to Change the Motor Air-Intake Filter:
1.
Turn off the main power switch and unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
2.
Remove the vacuum hose from the machine.
3.
Release the two latches and lift off the lid.
4.
Rotate the filter-retaining disc clockwise (Fig.1) to gain
access to the filter, which can then be lifted out to
remove (Fig.2).
5.
Do not throw away the filter retaining disc.
6.
Shake or brush the dust from filter (Fig.3).
7.
Replace the filter and filter retaining disc on machine.
Note: Do not operate machine without filter installed
8.
Replace the motor air-intake filter every sixth bag
(Fig.4).
