INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING YOUR TV IN
SMART MODE
Basic operations
1. Press the [HOME] key to display the SMART mode
homepage.
2. Use the [
Caret-Up
] [
Caret-down
] [
Caret-Left
] [
Caret-right
] keys to navigate through the user
interface.
3. Press the [OK] key to confirm the selection / launch of the
application.
4. Press the [RETURN] key to return to the previous menu /
page / screen.
REMARK:
Using the TV in SMART mode is more complex than normal
TV mode; method of use may vary depending on the installed
application(s); therefore, the manual serves as a reference
only. Some applications may not work fully with the remote
control and may require additional external peripherals such
as keyboard, mouse, air mouse, gaming controller in order to
function normally. To get the most out of Smart mode, plug
your mouse and keyboard into the USB slots on your TV.
Before using this device, familiarize yourself with the basic
features to get the best experience possible.
Mouse control
Mouse click: Left-click and release immediately
Click and hold: Left-click; hold down for at least 3 seconds
Left-clicking has the same function as pressing [OK] on the
remote control.
Right-clicking has the same function as pressing [RETURN] on
the remote control.
TV language settings
In SMART mode, you can change the system language as
follows:
1. In the main user interface, use the [

select settings [

2. Use the [
Caret-Up

Caret-down

Caret-Left

Caret-right
] keys to select the [Language] menu
3. Use the [

] keys to select the language you want.
4. Press the [OK] key to confirm the selection.
Choosing an input method
In SMART mode:
1. In the main user interface, use the [

select settings [

2. Use the [
Caret-Up
] [
Caret-down

Caret-Left

Caret-right
] keys to select the [Keyboard] menu.
3. Use the [

Caret-down
] keys to select a sub-menu of the current
keyboard, configuration and layout.
4. Press the [OK] key to confirm the selection.
Setting the system time:
In SMART mode:
1. In the main user interface, use the [

] keys to
select settings [

2. Use the [
Caret-Up
] [
Caret-down

Caret-Left

Caret-right
] keys to select the [Date and Time]
menu
3. Select the [Automatic Date and Time] sub-menu; press the
[OK] key to confirm the selection.
4. Select one of the options offered; press the [OK] key to
confirm the selection.
5. Restart the system.
Wi-Fi network settings
In SMART mode:
1. In the main user interface, use the [

select settings [

2. Use the [

Caret-Left

Caret-right
] keys to select the [Network] menu
3. Press the [OK] key to confirm the selection.
4. Select Wi-Fi, press the [OK] key to confirm your selection.
5. In Wi-Fi settings, use the [
Caret-Up
] [
Caret-down
] keys to select On / Off.
6. To start the Wi-Fi network, select [On], press the [OK] key to
confirm the selection.
7. Use the [
Caret-Up
] [
Caret-down
] keys to select available networks, press the
[OK] key to confirm the selection.
8. Use the [
Caret-Up
] [
Caret-down
] [OK] keys to enter the password, using the
on-screen keyboard in the password entry field.
9. After entering the password to continue, press [NEXT] on
the virtual keyboard. If you have successfully connected to
your Wi-Fi network the network status will write [Related].
Network icons with the padlock [icon] indicate networks that
you cannot connect to without knowing your password, while
network icons without a padlock [icon] indicate networks
that you can connect to without entering a password.
