Loop Protection
This page allows the user to inspect the current Loop Protection configurations, and
possibly change them as well. The loop protection feature is very important to
protect the unexpected network loop, especially when you install the switch on the
internet. The incorrect installation, failure media, or hacker attacking may create
network loop.
The switch supports the Loop Protection feature, the port can be shutdown or log
information per your configuration when the switch do detect the network loop. After
the port is shutdown, it may hard to manually reconnect it, so that there is a
shutdown time timeout design can help re-enable the port link automatically. With
the Loop Protection feature, it can help you to avoid the failure and protect your
network.
