9. Start the engine and run it at idle for several minutes.

11. Inspect the oil level. Check for any leakage.

Gear (transmission) oil

Use gear oil for four-‐stroke gasoline engines. Recommended oil type: API GL-‐5 SAE 80W/90.

Gear oil replacement

1. Set the scooter on the centre stand on a level surface.
2. Remove the filling bolt

NOTE:

Used engine oil must be sent to a collecting/recycling station in a sealed container. Disposing of it in any other

way will pollute the environment.

ATTENTION:

-‐ After the engine has been running, the oil temperature is high. Exercise care to avoid injury from burning.

-‐ If oil comes into contact with the skin, wash it away with soap or a cleaning agent.
