Nino
®
user manual
Ø
Do not drive in difficult conditions if you cannot adhere to the safety advice and warnings given in this manual or if you are under the
influence of drugs or alcohol.
Ø
For your safety, do not use your Nino® and recharge it in case of insufficient battery life. The same applies in cases of repeated warnings
or if the speed is limited.
Ø
Please place any items that you are carrying in your backpack instead of putting them on the floor.
Ø
Make sure that the Nino® is switched off and the kickstands are withdrawn before transport; otherwise, a rapid rotation of the wheels
may cause injuries. It is recommended to transport the Nino® with two people. Do not raise it by the wing, as you may pinch your
fingers.
Ø
Check that no screws are missing and that no part is damaged before use. Do not start the Nino® as long as these problems have not
been resolved.
Ø
Perform regular maintenance on your Nino® in accordance with section 7 of this manual.
3.5 Smart safety system/automatic protection
In the following situations, the Nino® will reduce its speed automatically to a level which will ensure your protection:
Ø
Overload or prolonged handling on a slope.
The smart protection will be activated and the Nino® will tilt backwards to remind the
driver that he/she should stop when the load on the Nino® exceeds the weight initially provided for too long. This may happen in the
following cases: when prolonged parking on a steep slope is felt as an overload by the device or in case of an overweight driver. When
these situations arise, the driver must exit the Nino®. The driver may fall if he/she remains on the device after more than 5 seconds of
standby.
Ø
Insufficient battery life.
When the battery life is less than 40%, the maximum speed in balanced mode is reduced, meaning the Nino®
limits its speed.
Ø
Insufficient battery power.
If the smart safety system is activated during movement because the power level of your battery is too low
(generally below 10%), you must deploy the kickstands in parking mode immediately and recharge the Nino®. In this case, the floor will
position itself so as to force the driver to stop if he/she continues to move.
