MAINTENANCE

AFTER USE

After working, before leaving the machine:

1

  Store the machine in a clean and dry place, indoors only.  

2

  Park the machine on a level 

fl

 oor. Ensure once the machine is 

left unattended it is secured against unintentional movement.

  Turn the Key Switch

 (1)

 to the OFF position (O).

4

  Remove the key from the machine to prevent unauthorized use 

of the machine.

5

  Perform the daily maintenance procedures (see the Mainte-

nance schedule).

BATTERY MAINTENANCE

Charge the batteries each time the machine is used for 1 hour or 

longer, or whenever the Battery Meter reads in the red area.

To Charge the Batteries...

 Remove cover.

  Plug charger in.

 Check the 

fl

 uid level in all battery cells after charging the batteries.  

Add distilled water, if necessary, to bring the 

fl

 uid level up to the 

bottom of the 

fi

 ller tubes.

CAUTION!

To avoid damage to 

fl

 oor surfaces, wipe water and acid 

from the top of the batteries after charging.

CAUTION!

Acid can spill onto the 

fl

 oor if the batteries are over-

fi

 lled.

 IMPORTANT

Motor damage resulting from failure to service carbon brushes is not 
covered under warranty.  See the Limited Warranty statement.
