Press the shutter-release button halfway.
•
The focus area glows green and focus will be locked.
•
When the camera is unable to focus, the focus area will
blink. Change the composition and try pressing the
shutter-release button halfway again.

Press the shutter-release button the rest of
the way down.
•
The picture will be recorded to the memory card or
internal memory.

White balance in Food Mode
•
Increasing the amount of red or blue will decrease illumination effects. Changing white balance in
Food mode will not affect white balance in the shooting menu (
A
86).
•
White balance in Food mode will be saved even when the shooting mode is changed or when the
power is turned off.
