Randomly spaced bright
pixels (“noise”) appear in
image.
Shutter speed too slow or ISO sensitivity is high as
the subject is dark. Noise can be reduced by:
•
Using flash.
•
Specifying a lower ISO sensitivity setting.
Randomly spaced bright
pixels (“noise”) appear in
movies.
When recording movies in dim lighting, the image
may become somewhat “grainy” in appearance.
This occurs when the ISO sensitivity increases, and
it does not indicate a malfunction.

or frame the picture so that the light source does
not enter the frame and try again.
