Viewing Pictures on TV

Tune the TV to the video- or HDMI-input channel.

Turn the camera on.
Press and hold the
c
button to turn the
camera on. Pictures will be displayed on
the TV.
If pictures are not displayed on
the TV when the camera is
connected via an A/V cable
, check
that the correct option is selected
for
Video mode
in the setup
menu (
70).
The controls on the camera
are
used for playback. In full-frame
playback, you can view other
pictures by dragging a finger left
or right over the monitor, or view
movies by tapping the monitor.
While the monitor is in use, the
monitor will turn on and TV
playback will be interrupted,
resuming after a short pause
once the monitor is no longer in
use.
Volume
can only be adjusted
using the controls on the TV.
If the camera is connected via
HDMI, an
HDMI-CEC–compatible
remote can be used to scroll
through pictures, play and pause
movies, and switch between full-
frame and thumbnail playback.
